Midsummer Night's Dream, Roar Shakespeare Company

Madeleine will be designing the set for  Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, Directed by Owen Lewis for the Roar Shakespeare Company. The play is a promenade piece in Abney Park Cemetery, seeing the collision of two worlds: The Athenian world which is modern dress, and the Fairy world, who are Victorian ghosts of the cemetery.

Show will be running from 29th June-23rd July 2011, from 7.30pm

Spring Loaded Dance festival at The Place dance Theatre

Madeleine did the stage design and props for a performance called E.D.D at The Place Dance Theatre, Euston as part ofof the Spring Loaded Dance festival. The show is a narrative hip hop dance, set in a surreal Victorian alleyway with hip hop dancer Tommy Frazen, who was runner up in ITV's So You Think you can Dance.

Teaching

Hermione and Madeleine will be teaching 2 week summer courses for children on the theme of 'Green'

Projects inlcude illustrating a poem by William Wordsworth,

making a collage out of reclyable packaging of a 'green animal (e.g. a chameleon) and making sculptures from found objects.

Fine Art Masters

Madeleine has completed her MA In performance design and Practise at Central St Martins.
