Monoprints/ collographs of dresses using silkscreen and devore´.Bilbao; various commissions and designs for the Guggenheim Museum.Started major projects on the theme of ‘Traces’ which involved taking two-dimensional plaster casts of collaged fabrics and found objects which formed the starting point of new ideas and imagery.Founded Fabric 8 studio in Bristol. Founding partner in South West Eighteen Design Group and The Collection, Both London based studios.Producing textile designs for fashion designers, manufacturers and fabric convertors in New York, L.A., Paris, Lyon and Japan.
Designer for Deryck Healey International; on colour forecasting.
Designer for Dickinson and Bodansky Design Studio, London, creating collections of printed textile designs for fashion.
Teaching Experience
1978-1995
Senior Lecturer in Textile Design at The University Of the West Of England, and visiting lecturer at Weston-super-Mare, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Somerset, Bath, Banbury, and Reigate Schools of art.
2007
Part-time lecturer at ‘Ecole de Beaux Arts’ Bayonne.
