Design Experience

1989-1992
Surface Decoration, applying designs onto different surfaces such as wood and plastic.
Co-founded design studio; The Collection; selling knit, weave, print and embroidery designs for fashion in Europe, USA and Japan. Her designs were sold to fashion designers such as Pierre Cardin, Christian Dior, and Ralph Lauren. In addition to designing, she was involved in directing other designers and shaping the collection.

1980-1982
Established South West Eighteen Design Group. A Textile Design Company, specialising in print and weave for fashion.
Designer for Dickinson & Bodansky, Hampstead, London.
Designer for textile company Ernst Fick, Atelier& Creation, St Gallen, Switzerland.

Teaching Experience


1978-Present
Visiting lecturer at Brighton, Medway, Taunton and Reigate colleges of art and opened her own studio in London, teaching and tutoring adults and young people.
